Hello Rugby League fans!

This week, we had the pleasure of unveiling the first in-game footage of our upcoming Rugby League Live 4. Given the time of year, we thought it would be best to show that classic moment as the two State of Origin teams take the field at the start of a match.

As you’ll see from the video, this game makes full use of our leading photogrammetry technology to deliver realistic facial features on each player, right down to the most minute of details. We wanted this year’s edition of Rugby League Live to be the most authentic and realistic League experience ever, and we feel that by using photogrammetry to pull the players directly into the game, fans will get the full experience of hard hits against the big personalities in League that they love (and love to hate).

Story

You control Jaxx, jester extraordinaire, in search of the legendary Druid Orbs, source of unimaginable power. Thrown into the mix is an invading clown army who are terrorizing the denizens of the realm while on their own search for the orbs. The clowns have kidnapped Jaxx’s companion, the lady Comedia, to try wring out any information she might have.

Combat

Test your resolve against a multitude of formidable enemies. Flow from attack to counter, from dodge to hammer throw. Smash, bash and hurl your battle hammer in a maelstrom of annihilation as waves of enemies charge at you from outhouse spawn points.

Combos

Killer combo counts are the secret to a high level score. Keep stringing attacks, counters, supermoves and takedowns to create combos. The higher Jaxx’s combo, the faster his Superbar is charged. You must strategically use one of your three supermoves on specific enemies, making sure you are prepared for the boss’!

Platforming

The realm can be a treacherous place. Traverse narrow precipices, leap from platform to platform, avoid mines and booby traps, bounce on giant mushrooms and more.

Jetpack Joyride on PS Vita and PS3

Join Barry, a struggling gramophone salesman, as he breaks into a secret laboratory to commandeer experimental jetpacks from the clutches of science evildoers. Start off strapped into the legendary Machine Gun Jetpack, but hoard your coins to collect all the other wacky and wild jetpacks like the Snowball, Rainbow and Piggybank Jetpacks.

After lift-off, simply touch the screen to ascend and release to descend, raining bullets, bubbles, rainbows and lasers downwards as you zoom down the corridors of a crazy lab. Keen reflexes are your best weapon to dodge lasers, electricity fields and missiles that come your way.

Boost!

Get a boost along the way with vehicles like the Lil’ Stomper, Profit Bird and Crazy Freaking Teleporter. If you’re lucky, you’ll also find the Strong Arm Machine (SAM) – the ultimate vehicle of destruction and hi-fives. You’re going for a ride!
